Eternally Good Music

I will probably keep these opinions until death do me apart from this website. My interests in music will definetly update faster than this site, so these are my static opinions.

Free Software

I basically use only free software. Running NixOS currently. I currently manage all $0.07 for my university's Linux Users Group. I'm not a free software zealot; I have a Windows virtual machine and proprietary video games. Free software is just plain better most of the time. That is why I use it.

Electrical Engineering

I'm still a budding Engineer. Currently my interests are encompassed by the field of electromagnetism. I've always done well in my emag classes, and I tend to like classes I do well in. I've recently taken an interest in amateur radio, so it has been fun using my knowledge to design antennas. It might not be the most practical field to get into, but it's a good basis for all the subfields of EE.

Fun Controversial Opinions

• 400°C is the best general temperature for soldering. I've never lifted a trace. Soldering tips are cheap.
• 120V mains isn't that dangerous. Just use one hand for tinkering around and dont work on mains while wet.
• You don't really need to bring a phone everywhere you go. The world probably isn't going to expolode of someone can't get ahold of you for a few hours.
